Mission Statement

The mission of Portsmouth Community Concerts is to promote appreciation for the performing arts by presenting a series of diverse concerts by professional artists from the nation and the world and by providing educational opportunities to students.

Student Outreach

PCCI continues to sponsor educational opportunities for student outreach programs or master classes which are conducted by an artist(s) engaged to perform during the concert season. We also offer complimentary tickets to Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Suffolk students through their school's music teachers. In fulfilling our mission, education and student outreach programs are definitely a concern when engaging artists.
